Cassidy Olson and Brett Nista are college friends, former UCLA baseball teammates, and the heart and soul behind LA Pop Up Mini Golf—a business built on friendship, creativity, and a shared love for bringing joy to people of all ages.

Cassidy founded LA Pop Up Mini Golf in 2018 with a simple idea: mini golf should come to you. Inspired by weekend adventures with his wife, Daniela, and their two young sons, Cassidy saw the need for fun, family-friendly entertainment that could pop up anywhere. With a background in woodworking and a lifelong knack for building, Cassidy personally designs and crafts each of the company’s custom mini golf holes—blending artistry, creativity, and just the right amount of challenge.

Not long after the first putt was made, Brett joined the team, bringing his passion for organization, logistics, and customer experience. With a sharp business sense and a get-it-done attitude, Brett helped grow LA Pop Up Mini Golf into a smooth-running operation that now serves events of all sizes across Southern California.

Together, Cassidy and Brett have built more than just a business—they’ve created a mobile mini golf experience that has brought smiles to over 750 events and counting.
